Store and access your book library directly from an Amazon S3 bucket or S3-compatible storage (MinIO, Backblaze B2, Cloudflare R2, Wasabi, etc.).
This would allow users with large libraries to keep books in their own cloud storage rather than relying solely on iCloud or local files. Books would be downloaded on demand when opened, with optional local caching for offline reading.
Use cases:
- Self-hosted library storage without iCloud dependency
- Shared household libraries via a single bucket
- Large collections (1000+ books) that exceed iCloud storage tiers
- Integration with existing NAS/backup workflows that already sync to S3
