It´s an amazing app. Right balance of functional and nice to use. Things like annotation , serarch, organizing – all well done.
Given that I was mildly disappointed that it´s seemingly missing a domain-standard: pages overview, i.e. browsable page thumbnails…
… am I missing something? Or is the app missing this basic feature?

Thank you for the kind words, glad the annotations, search, and organization are working well for you.
To answer directly: no, you're not missing anything, BookShelves doesn't currently have a page thumbnail overview (a browsable grid of page thumbnails). Navigation today is via the table of contents and the progress bar/page slider, but there's no thumbnail grid view.
It's a fair request and I've noted it as a feature idea. Can't promise a timeline yet, but feedback like this is what shapes the roadmap, thank you for raising it.
Just discovered this as "planned". This, plus generally your attentive + reasoned reaction really instills not only trust – but makes me put Bookshelves on no 1 as my future/soon "go-to" reading app!
Thx a lot for all of it!

Thank you, Oliver! Really appreciate hearing that. Feedback like yours shapes the roadmap, so glad the transparency comes through.
