Read ebooks borrowed from the German Onleihe (public library lending service) directly in BookShelves.
Onleihe is the largest digital library lending platform in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, operated by divibib. It lets public library cardholders borrow ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines digitally for a limited time. Currently, Onleihe users on iOS/macOS are limited to the official Onleihe app or older readers like Bluefire Reader.
With Onleihe integration, BookShelves could serve as a single reading app for both your personal library and borrowed library books — no more switching between apps.
Technical note: Onleihe uses Readium LCP copy protection (via Vivlio/tolino) for German-language titles. This feature depends on LCP DRM support being implemented first.
