Would be nice if the user could define a custom theme (background and font color). Currently I simply edit the reader.css and modify one of the existing themes, but this will be overwritten with the next update.

Some obvious things here I thought I’d suggest explicitly anyway: Themes should also include all other settings besides color, like font choice and margins settings etc. and multiple slots to save multiple themes would be nice, with the ability to name them.
